Research Data Services
Research Data Services encompass the guidance, tools, and expertise that support the management, sharing, and stewardship of research data across the research lifecycle, and this page highlights key resources used by health sciences librarians.
Policies
The NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy requires all NIH‑funded researchers to plan for, document, preserve, and share their scientific data through an approved Data Management and Sharing Plan, establishing data accessibility and good data stewardship as conditions of funding. This is an essential resource for health sciences librarians because they play a key role in guiding researchers on compliance, repository selection, metadata standards, and best practices across the research data lifecycle.
